2023 WOCCON Roadshow Recap
When we launched the foundation in November 2021, our mission was clear: to create a world where women, especially women of color, succeed as business leaders.
This is why we stand as a proud sponsor and supporter of the “Creating Conscious Collisions” Women of Color Connecting (WOCCON) Roadshow, which represents our unwavering belief in the power of collaboration, mentorship and community-building towards women in business.
Hosted by the Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership (IFEL) and its visionary CEO and Founder Jill Johnson, WOCCON brings together a dynamic mix of investors, executives, and allies, all dedicated to uplifting women of color entrepreneurs to new heights. The event series, set in ten major cities, facilitated networking, mentorship, and inspiration!
At the Boston roadshow, our Board Chair and Founder, Barbara Clarke, led a session focused on board development and governance for the entrepreneurs, based on key insights from her Amazon bestselling book, "Build Your Board, Build Your Business.”
In Oakland, our incredible CEO, Cheryl Contee, gave a fireside chat focused on her journey as an entrepreneurial leader. She shared insights from her experience being a founder and author of Amazon bestselling book “Mechanical Bull: How You Can Achieve Startup Success.”

The WOCCON Roadshow is not just about the present but also about creating a legacy of empowerment and generational wealth. By focusing on women of color founders, WOCCON is rewriting the story of entrepreneurship, pushing for a more inclusive and equitable playing field.
Our involvement in events like the WOCCON Roadshow is more than just sponsorship; it's about creating impactful change across the investment world and further. We're excited to keep backing these initiatives, helping to cultivate a new generation of #entrepreneurs and #investors.
